Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has announced the opening date for its upcoming Queensway pizzeria. The newest neighbourhood location will bring its celebrated authentic Neapolitan pizzas to esteemed West London from Saturday 27th April.

Adding to Rudy’s already-popular pizzerias in Soho, Shoreditch, Fitzrovia and Spitalfields, this new opening will offer West London the opportunity to enjoy Rudy’s authentic Neapolitan pizza,fan-favourite dips and celebrated desserts, just in time for the sunny months.Located in a former bank just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, Rudy’s Queensway will be set over two floors with ample dining space including an intimate basement complete with original exposed brickwork arches, showcasing the history and architectural beauty of the area.

The new Rudy’s in Queensway will also honour its authentic Neapolitan roots through the drinks menu, with a well-stocked bar serving iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian Poretti, and classic stirred-cocktails. Born out of passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, renowned for its consistency and quality. Now joining an eclectic and celebrated culinary scene in Spitalfields, the relaxed and friendly dining concept will offer classic Napoli-born recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese, alongside paying homage to famous pizzerias around the globe

with rotating specials.

Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily by their in-house pizzaioli, using Caputo ‘00’ flour which takes over 24 hours to be lovingly made, before being topped with the highest-quality ingredients from Naples, the birthplace of pizza. This includes San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, and traditional Fior di Latte mozzarella.

Staying true to the traditions of Naples, each pizza is cooked to order, for around 60 seconds – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised ‘cornicione’ crust.

Commenting on the new openings, Neal Bates of Rudy’s Pizza, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming West Londoners to our newest location, giving the community the chance to try our traditional Neapolitan pizzas this springtime. Queensway is undergoing a transformation to create a new, world-class district for living, shopping, dining and leisure which Rudy’s are excited to be part of, and we can’t wait for current Rudy’s lovers, as well as soon-to-be-fans to enjoy a slice of the action.”
