So Me Beauty Hair Salon Review

Finding a good salon in London can be difficult, yes there are a lot to choose from, from high end glamorous hairdressers to high street chains. However finding a good salon with an equally good hairdresser isn’t always that easy. I have left many hairdressers feeling dissatisfied because they cut too much hair off after asking for a trim or having my balayage look more copper than blond.

So what do I do? I bounce from one hairdresser to another, in the hope of finding a good hairdresser I don’t want to let go of. With split ends begging for a cut, I finally got myself booked into So Me Beauty and Wellness salon for a hair cut and blow dry. They have three salons in London, I opted for the Clapham Junction branch, which is a five minute walk from the station, and very easy to get to.

So Me Beauty also offers an array of beauty treatments so you can certainly treat it as a one stop shop and treat yourself to as much pampering as you like. They offer waxing, massages, nail treatments, facials and tanning. So Me Beauty also has brow and lash bars in over 70 Superdrug stores across the UK, so it’s pretty likely you’ve actually encountered one of their treatments.

I got a warm welcome when I arrived and was pleasantly surprised by how decadent the salon was. Once seated I spoke to the hairdresser about my split ends and damaged hair. Yes my hair was in need of a cut but I also spoke of my concerns of getting too much chopped off. As a professional she listened to my needs assured me she wouldn’t cut too much off and after 40mins I had a beautiful new hair cut with layers and a blow dry. My hair looked nourished and had a healthy shine. Needless to say I was pleased, could I have found my ideal hairdresser?

A ladies cut and blow dry starts at £40, so the pricing here is pretty dam good too!

Good news for guys, they also cater for men, so while you’re getting a back massage, your other half doesn’t have to wait in reception, he can nip in to the room next door and get pampered as well. TLC for you both… what more could you want!
