Thai Massage at Thai Serene Massage

Let’s face it, booking yourself in for a massage is a luxury, so you definitely expect a massage that exceeds expectations. A good masseuse can sometimes be hard to find.

I got myself booked into Thai Serene Massage at the BK Boutique in St Johns Wood. When you walk in you are greeted with a hair and nail salon and downstairs is where the you will find your masseuse. I received a warm welcome at reception and was shown to my room.

It’s quite small downstairs, cosy I would say. My masseuse Tan was friendly, she asked what pressure I would like and then began a full body massage. I was also pleased to have a mini foot and head massage also included. I do have a lot of knots, and I asked Tan to kneed away and release some tension. She happily did so, and although it was a little painful, it was necessary.

It was an hour massage, but it certainly felt like a luxury 90 minute massage, I certainly did feel a little disappointed when it was over, Tan did such a great job I would have happily stayed for another hour, I know my body would have thanked me for it! The massage ended with a couple of body stretches and I was offered kindly offered a drink after.

The hour massage only costs £50, which is an absolute bargain and needless to say I will be back again.
