The London International Tattoo Convention 2014 Review

I can safely say that I was (in the tattooed sense) the most naked person present at the London International Tattoo Convention this year, however this only spurred my curiosity into the skin inking art.

As my friend and I wandered round the gorgeous venue Tobacco Dock, we were surrounded by the constant hum of tattoo needles. It was like walking around a bee hive! People were getting inked left, right and center.

I’m no tattoo guru, but there were a few that really caught our eye. However the stand out artist for us was Lianne Moule and her beautiful flower watercolors, they looked more like paintings than tattoos!

Not only a festival for the tattooed we headed downstairs to watch a cheeky bit of burlesque, some energetic music and browse the shops than lined the dock ground floor.

With the sun shining we sat outside and my chum enjoyed a taco from The Taco Truck‘s travelling food van. It was a tough choice with veggie specialists Buddha Bowls also selling their wares!

An ace way to spend a Sunday, young, old, inked or naked. I have expanded my knowledge of tattooing, and do you know what? I think I’m ready for my first…..
