BAFTA 195 Piccadilly Hosts Eat Film With Rankin
On Friday 17th October, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly will be hosting one of the highlights of the London Restaurant Festival for the second successive year, as celebrated photographer Rankin curates a three-course dinner inspired by the Italian cinematic masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso.
Hosted by Rankin himself, 180 guests will enjoy a Peroni Nastro Azzurro Piccola reception followed by a screening of his favourite film in the iconic Princess Anne Theatre. The evening will be rounded off with an Italian 3-course dinner inspired by the film, and prepared by BAFTA 195’s Head Chef Anton Manganaro. Guests will be able to enjoy Italian street food canapés such as Arancina a carne (rice ball stuffed with ragu) and Cazzillo (potato croquettes) followed by Carpaccio of Loch Duart salmon with wild fennel and orange salad, Stuffed belly of Dingley Dell pork with polenta, braised treviso, pine nuts & sultanas and for dessert, mini Cannoli filled with chestnut, vanilla and chocolate cream with pistachio gelato.
