THE TABLE BATTERSEA, LAUNCHES OMAKASE ‘MYSTERY MENU’ EVENT
Award-winning restaurant and institution, The Table, famous for its delectable dishes and warm, welcoming ambience, is launching a monthly Omakase ‘Mystery Menu’ concept on Wednesday 24th April.
Each month, The Table Battersea will host a four-course Omakase tasting menu. The first tasting event takes place on the 24th April for just £30pp, including a welcome cocktail. Omakase is a Japanese phrase that means ‘I’ll leave it up to you’ or, in the context of ordering food at a restaurant, ‘I’ll trust the chef. ‘
The tasting menus are designed to celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of The Table’s chefs, offering an immersive dining adventure inspired by their experiences across the globe and childhood culinary memories.
The new Omakase experience at The Table is designed to cater to food-lovers looking for a unique, excellent value and exciting new dining experience that celebrates the best of global cuisine. Guests can expect some truly unique experimental dishes which showcase the immense talent of each chef involved.
The Table has been part of the Bankside and Southwark Street dining scene for over 17 years. From starting out as a small restaurant selling sandwiches and salads, the Table has grown into a thriving business with an award-winning menu centred on impeccable quality and sustainable sourcing.
The Table Battersea is situated in Battersea’s thriving new foodie centre with a spacious and inviting interior alongside a beautiful outdoor terrace. Both sites have already seen roaring success and the brand has become somewhat of an institution, after winning multiple awards including the Time Out Love London Awards.
Owner Venus Loudon commented on the launch “We’re so excited to bring this new dining concept to The Table. We are lucky to have some truly amazing talent on our team and wanted to celebrate this whilst hosting an unforgettable experience for our guests.”
