The Table Launches in Battersea

Much-loved brunch venue expands south of the river

The beloved brunch destination, The Table, has opened a second location in Battersea Rise, a hop, skip and jump from nearby Clapham Junction and boujee shopping destination, Northcote Road.

Having served up delightful dishes for over 17 years in its sister restaurant in Southwark, the new site will be a welcome addition for Clapham and Battersea brunch fanatics. The space has a spacious and inviting interior alongside a beautiful outdoor terrace.

The Battersea location will continue to showcase The Table’s commitment to serving exceptional brunch options made with locally sourced, high-quality ingredients. Whether guests are looking for fan favourites such as the Brunch Club Pancakes and the Breakfast Stack or truly inventive dishes that push the boundaries of brunch, The Table has something for everyone to enjoy.

Guests can expect yummy dishes such as Smoked Ham Hock and Chorizo Hash, served with wilted spinach & topped with one fried free-range egg, garnished with Southwark hot sauce; The Table Chicken Burger with grilled buttermilk-marinated free-range chicken thigh, Southwark hot sauce, home-made mayonnaise, avocado, sliced tomato and gem lettuce;  or Brunch Club with crispy streaky bacon, sausage, free-range scrambled eggs with chives, drizzled with maple syrup, served on either Pancakes or gluten-free Waffles.

Whilst famed for its brunches, the venue really comes alive in the evenings, where a range of small plates and wickedly mixed cocktails are available. We were fortunate enough to try some of the cocktails at the launch event and would wholeheartedly recommend their twist on a Amaretto Sour – served short and bursting with flavour.

Evening dishes span all of the good cuisines, with dishes such as Lamb Kofta, Burrata and the most tender Grilled Bavette Steak with chimichurri sauce and watercress salad. We also highly recommend the Chocolate Brownie, which is actually vegan, but still pillowy soft and delicious.
