WELCOMING THE WILD: Chase Distillery opens immersive countryside bar on forgotten London backstreet
This Thursday 7th September, an East London backstreet will be transformed from concrete jungle to nature-fuelled haven, as Chase Distillery launches ‘Inspired by the Wild’.
The residential road in Dalston, whose residents have spent years looking for funding to transform the street, will be opened to the public as Chase Distillery and residents celebrate the street’s rejuvenation through the ‘Inspired by the Wild’ pop-up botanical bar.
Bringing a slice of the countryside to this forgotten road, Chase and Royal Horticultural Society-winning landscape designer Tom Massey have revamped the backroad to create a community space that’s full of life, with an oasis of permanent plants, trees and greenery that will adorn the botanical bar on 7th, and will remain in situ long after the bar closes its shutters.
The gin & vodka brand, whose flavours are inspired by Chase’s Herefordshire countryside roots, is embarking on a longer-term project to bring a slice of the countryside to city dwellers, and visitors joining local residents at the grand unveiling can enjoy a delicious selection of Chase gin and vodka serves, including Pink Grapefruit G&T, Marmalade Vodka & Mint Soda, and Rhubarb & Basil Gin Smash.
Tickets are free of charge, and can be booked via Eventbrite – with each confirmed ticket securing two free Chase serves, as well as an evening of entertainment with an on-site DJ and opportunity to explore the surrounding greenery. There will also be some capacity reserved for walk-ins on the day, when the bar will be open from 5.30pm-9pm. Please note, tickets will only be available to those over-18 years of age, and identification will be required on the door.
For those inspired by the transformation, RHS designer behind the transformation, Tom Massey will be on-hand to chat through the street’s revamping, as well as the wider benefits of bringing nature to our citites.

Terms & Conditions
By entering this event and promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which is the basis of your relationship with the MHP Group Limited (“us”, “we”). If you are registering on behalf of other individuals, you hereby confirm that you have obtained the consent of those individuals to attend the “Chase – Inspired by the Wild Bar” (“Event”) and that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
· Eligibility: The Event is open to anyone who is 18 years old or over on 7th September 2023, proof of age will be required.
· Registration: Registrations must be made online through Eventbrite, and a limited number of walk-in spaces will be available on the day. Once the event reaches capacity, there will be a one-in, one-out policy in place.
· Cost: The Event is free of charge and no refunds will be available once registration is confirmed. Tickets cannot be exchanged. Tickets cannot be sold for commercial gain. If we have reason to believe that tickets have been sold, they will be invalidated, and the holder will be refused admission.
· Entrance Requirements: Attendees must show proof of their Eventbrite ticket (digital or printed) for entry to the Event. The name on the ticket must match the attendee on the day. For the safety of people at the Event, the venue management and the organiser reserve the right to refuse admission and conduct security searches as they deem appropriate.
· Drinks: Chase serves will be redeemable via drinks coupons. Please collect your drinks coupons on arrival and redeem them at the bar. No more than two drinks per person will be redeemable.
· Opening Hours: The event will close at 9pm and final drinks will be served no later than 8.30pm.
· Photography: A photographer will be present at the Event. By participating in the Event, attendees’ consent to their photographs being taken and used for promotional content on Chase’s social media platforms. If you do not consent to your photograph being taken you will need to inform a member of the MHP Group team.
· Talent: Attendees are not able to meet and greet with the talent hosting the Event or take photos with them unless they are invited to by the talent directly. Anyone seen to be harassing the talent will be required to leave immediately.
· Social media: Attendees are allowed to take photos and post about the Event on their private social media channels, we request that you tag @chase_distillery in your posts if possible.
· Privacy Policy: For the purposes of data protection laws, MHP Group Limited shall be the data controller in respect of any personal data collected from you by Eventbrite in connection with Event. Personal data collected from you may include your name, contact details and your likeness in the event of any photography. MHP Group Limited (and its group and affiliated companies and their respective suppliers) shall process such personal data for the purpose of Chase Distillery’s marketing and PR activities. MHP Group Limited may need to share such personal data with its Chase Distillery for the purpose of the Event (“Permitted Purpose”). Your personal data shall be retained for as long as it is required in connection with the Permitted Purpose and record-keeping, but any other personal data which has been collected but is not required for these purposes shall be promptly deleted. · Conduct: Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, safe manner and to follow the health and safety instructions at all times during the Event. Please drink responsibly. Anyone who arrives at the event intoxicated will not be admitted, even if you have a valid ticket.
· Right to Cancel: The organizers reserve the right to cancel the Event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, attendees will be notified.
· Liability: We reserve the right to make any reasonable amendments to these terms and conditions at any stage. If any provision in these terms and conditions, whether in full or in part, is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all other remaining provisions (in full or in part) shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect any statutory rights to which the attendee may be entitled to as a consumer.
o a. Death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or a deliberate act or omission of us, our employees, agents or contractors;
