Bamboo Mat Stratford to launch Bottomless Peruvian and Japanese Brunch this September

Adding to London’s bustling brunch scene, Bamboo Mat in Staford is launching a Peruvian and Japanese fusion bottomless brunch, launching officially on Saturday 3rd September, providing fresh dishes full of flavour that are sure to kickstart anyone’s day.

Available at their Stratford restaurant every Saturday and Sunday from 12 midday to 4pm, guests will soon be able to sample eight of Bamboo Mat’s signature dishes for just £35 per person.

Bamboo Mat Brunch Dishes

Begin with signature sushi Tuna Nigiri, Salmon Avocado Maki and Yellow Tail Nigiri.

Peruvian classics include Bamboo Mat’s Seabass Ceviche with aji amarillo tiger’s milk, sweet potato, red onion, chancha corn; and Artichoke Tostada with salsa criolla and salsa verde.

Fluffy Bao Buns are NEW to Bamboo Mat and exclusively offered at Stratford during bottomless brunch. Choose from pork or nasu (Japanese aubergine) to pave the way for your bottomless accompaniments.

Bamboo Mat also has a delicious vegetarian bottomless brunch menu on offer for just £30 per person. Enjoy innovative dishes such as Vegetable Ceviche for a quirky take on a classic, as well as Mango Maki and their deliciously fresh Pepper and Avocado Nigiri.

The range of dishes at Bamboo Mat provides an authentic mix of Peruvian and Japanese flavours, adding a unique twist to traditional brunch offerings across the city.

Go Bottomless

Add a bottomless alcohol option for £18 per person and enjoy unlimited drinks for 1.5 hours choosing from the refreshing Hugo Spritz (fresh mint, lime, elderflower syrup, prosecco, and sparkling water!), prosecco or white wine.

Not drinking? No problem, add undisputed Peruvian soft drink Chicha Morada made from base mix of dried purple corn with water, fruit and spices and you can keep going back for more for just £12 per person.

Following a rave review from food critic Grace Dent last summer, Bamboo Mat’s popularity has been building in foodie circles.

Bringing a fresh perspective on Nikkei cuisine (Peruvian-Japanese fusion), chef-owner Denis Gobjila (formerly at Chotto Matte,) and his business partner, Victor Rosca (formerly at Sushisamba and Lucky Cat), have peeled off from their previous Peruvian and Japanese restaurant establishments to join forces and stamp their mark on London’s burgeoning Nikkei cuisine scene.

Bamboo Mat’s bottomless brunch will launch on Saturday 2nd September and will be offered every Saturday and Sunday at Stratford between midday and 4pm.

A DJ will be installed playing a Peruvian soundtrack during every Bamboo Mat brunch service.
