World Daiquiri Day 19th July 2023 With MEATliquor!

To celebrate World Daiquri Day 2023, Monkey shoulder unveiled its sizzling new partnership with MEATliquor. MEATliquor began with humble beings selling burgers in pub car parks as MEATwagon and now it is the venue of the World Daiquiri Day party hosted by Monkey shoulder.

The event was at the infamous W1 late night bar and diner in Oxford Circus which keeps it’s doors open until 3am, sadly we could only make it to 1am. Do you blame us we were served fresh Daiquiris, Monkey Monkster – £12.50 ( Smokey Monkey Shoulder, Manuka honey, green tea topped with ginger ale) this one for the lover of big bold flavours Grog 2.1 – £12 (El Dorado rum, Skippers rum, Fresh Monkey Shoulder dosed with over prove rum and Meatliquor tropical grog mix) definitely one for the fruiter drink lovers.

Not only were we served these we had a chance to spin the wheel of luck to see what other we could try. Wheel master Calum was there to help. We weren’t that lucky with the first spin landing on spin again, we followed what the wheel said and spun again this time our luck was granted to us in the form of another Fresh Daiquiri and a shot of Monkey Flask – £7.50 (Monkey Shoulder Original, clarified apple, blackcurrant and citrus)

It wouldn’t be an evening at Meatliquor of you don’t try their burgers. The options we went for were the ‘1924’ – £12.50 (double patty, blue cheese sauce, pickled red onion and fried shallots), Chicken Parma Burger – £12.50 (breaded mozzarella slab, marinara sauce), Fried Pickles – £ 5.25, Mac & Cheese Bites – £7.25, Slaw £5.50 and Salt & Pepper fries £4.75. All this was served on a metal try true diner style. Mouth watering amdFull of flavour. A perfect meal to enjoy any time.

DJ Santero was bringing the vibes that matched the décor of street art and the glowig neon lights of various slogans and brands. What goes with vibes, food and cocktails? That’s right cool swag. Once we finished feast of food we went back to that wheel of luck to see if we could get that swag. Our luck was better this time and we landed on it straight away. Monkey Shoulder slider and a tee with their #makeitmonkey printed on it as well as the three famous monkeys.

How do you top this? By having a take away portion of the new Monkey Shoulder na Meatliquor food offering Monkey Finger – not real monkey fingers – £10.50 (chicken breast strips in signature seasoning, fried and drenched in A Smokey Monkey Shoulder BBQ sauce.
