Andaz London Liverpool street celebrates Pride
Despite the parade being cancelled this year, Five-star lifestyle hotel Andaz London Liverpool Street is still celebrating London Pride with a series of fabulous events and experiences.From the 8th – 11th September 2021, the hotel will hold a free Drag Queen Workshop, serve a menu of rainbow-coloured gin cocktails and host glamourous DJs and entertainers every night to dazzle guests throughout the celebrations.
Drag Queen Workshop (8th September from 6.00pm – 9.00pm)
Andaz London Liverpool Street has collaborated with Velma Celli, the UK’s queen of live vocal Drag, to provide guests with a live tutorial on how to create the ultimate drag look.
Taking place on Thursday 8th September from 6.00pm – 9.00pm and free to attend, guests will learn all the tips and tricks of perfect drag make-up applications so that they can undergo a glamorous drag transformation under the watchful eye of Velma Celli. Attendees will need to bring their own make up, with recommended products including Foundation, Setting Powder, Contour Kit, Lipstick, Blusher, Eye Linger, Eye Brow Pencil, Eye Shadows, Mascara & False Eye Lashes.
Once made up, guests will be able to play dress up, trying on a range of colourful wigs and flamboyant outfits supplied by Mad World Fancy Dress.

Andaz Lounge Drag Queen DJ & Host (9th September – 11th September)
Throughout Pride weekend, the Andaz London Liverpool Street will be welcoming its Drag Queen friends to DJ and entertain guests in the hotel’s vibrant Lounge.
From 4.00pm to 6.00pm, each day guests will be graced by the presence of some of the capital’s most vibrant drag artists and entertainers to celebrate Pride in style, including Lady Lloyd,Diamond Daniels, Herr and Camille Leon.
A DJ set will be playing in the hotel’s Lounge from 6.00pm – 8.00pm, with the music continuing from 8.00pm – 10.00pm in Rake’s Café Bar.
Andaz London Liverpool Street will also be offering its special Rainbow Gin Cocktail to all guests during its complimentary cocktail hour from 7.00pm – 8.00pm. In collaboration with Whitley Neil Gin, the hotel will be showcasing and serving a selection of its gin offering in different coloured bottles to reflect the Pride rainbow colours.
