Carnaby’s Free Bike hub has arrived – Ride, Park, Roam and Shop

The lockdown has refreshed the nations love of cycling; there has been a surge in bike sales as the government is encouraging us to walk and cycle more. With improvements being made to cycle networks, widening of cycle lanes, voucher schemes and more cycle parking hubs at stations, there has never been a better time to ‘get in gear’.

Knowing where to leave your bike safe and secure whilst exploring our wonderful city can be a hassle. With cycle parking provision in Westminster scarce, you don’t want to be worrying about chaining your bike up on the pavement and wondering whether it will still be there when you get back. Thankfully, a free Bike hub has now launched in the heart of the West End at 57 Carnaby Street, making it easy and convenient for visitors and those working locally to park their bikes securely from 7am – 9pm.

Carnaby’s new Bike Hub is easily accessible, with space for 50 bikes on a first come first served basis. Although there is 24/7 security and CCTV, bike riders still need to be savvy and ensure they lock up securely.

Parking woes sorted and just in time as the lovely weather and dining incentives entice visitors back to eat and shop. So ‘get on yer bike’, enjoy alfresco dining at one of the many enticing restaurants, knowing you’ll be able to pedal away those extra calories. Just try not to go overboard with the shopping bags!

Open from 10th August at 57 Carnaby Street
