Skylight Rooftop Is Back!

The other week Onin.London ventured to Skylight Rooftop to celebrate the re-opening of this delightful outdoor space. Skylight Rooftop is famous for its panoramic and uninterrupted views across London’s skyline.
The Skylight management team have monitored government guidance and worked with a leading health & safety consultant to ensure a robust Covid-secure operational system is in place to keep all guests and staff safe. We certainly felt safe when we visited.
There’s plenty of space for social distancing in place with no games currently being played. Tables do have to be booked with reservations from £10 per table, and guests need to have secured a booking in advance in order to enter the venue, ensuring controlled numbers. Full table service for all guests is also available with drinks collection points located at the end of each table and contactless payment throughout the venue. We throughly enjoyed this aspect as staff were on top of it, throughout the couple of hours we spent soaking up the sun.
The one-way system for guests was also clearly marked out, so everything was easy to follow. There was also plenty of hand sanitiser available so everything felt incredibly safe.
We loved the new cocktail menu with the Skylight Garden (Beefeater Gin, St Germain Elderflower well balanced with peach, plum, apple & lemon flavours) being our favourite. In terms of food, there’s Hikari offering fresh Asian dishes and State Side serving plenty of food to keep our stomaches happy. Don’t go pass The One, a delicious “Philly cheese beef sub” with roasted brisket, caramel onions and smoked cheese. All for the reasonable price of £10.
So what are you waiting for… head down to Tobacco Docks and go soak up that sun!
