CARNIVAL IS ON! WITH PANORAMA AND THE DUPPY SHARE RUM.
THE DUPPY SHARE RUM CELEBRATE NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL AT UK NATIONAL PANORAMA STEELBAND
On Saturday 28th August, The Duppy Share Rum, the UK’s #1 selling premium rum brand and Official Rum of Notting Hill Carnival, will be celebrating the return of the UK National Panorama Steelband Competition for 2021, hosting The Duppy Share Rum bar at Hornimans to serve Duppy Rum cocktails, including the ever-popular Slush Duppies and Duppy Rum Punch.
The most respected and anticipated steel pan event outside of the Caribbean, the UK National Panorama Steelband Competition sees the best of the best pan players and steel pan bands from all over the world come together to showcase their skills. This year, crowds can look forward to elite UK based talent from the bands Mangrove (current champions), Ebony, Croydon Steel Orchestra and Metronomes, going head-to-head to be crowned the Panorama Champions of 2021.
With Notting Hill Carnival sadly not on the streets this year, the return of Panorama is welcome for the Carnival community and part of a wider series of events from the organisers of Notting Hill Carnival. Getting into the carnival spirit, Duppy Rum will also be hosting a pop up bar in the Voysey Gardens of Hornimans, where guests can enjoy both Duppy Share Aged and Duppy share Spiced Rum with mixers from 18:00-23:30. All ticket sales will be in aid of the Notting Hill Carnival Recovery Fund.

As a brand created in the heart of Notting Hill in 2015, Duppy Share Rum is thrilled to be joining the UK National Panorama Steelband Competition to keep the drinks flowing and celebrate this year’s Notting Hill Carnival.

Duppy and Cola (Aged or Spiced)
Duppy and Ting (Aged or Spice)
Duppy and Old Jamaica Ginger Beer (Aged or Spiced)
Slush Duppies – Duppy Aged, lime juice, hibiscus syrup, pineapple juice
Duppy Rum Punch – Duppy Aged (or Spiced), lime juice, hibiscus syrup, pineapple juice and a dash of bitters.
Matthew Phillip – CEO of Notting Hill Carnival Ltd, says, “It’s wonderful to be bringing Panorama back for 2021. For decades, this has been the biggest steel pan competition outside of the Caribbean and the focal event of the year for any steel pan band. Despite the difficulties that COVID posed for Carnival, Panorama’s format can take place this year and it will be a fantastic celebration.
“It’s another great event for this year that will help raise funds for bands and performers to ensure the full, spectacular Notting Hill Carnival is back on the streets for 2022.”
