After serving up over 10,000 cocktails at the first event in July, Cocktails in the City will return to Bedford Square Gardens from 11-13 August for the second instalment of its London Summer Series 2022. London’s popular cocktail festival will welcome its ‘International Edition’ where guests can enjoy a weekend-long celebration of the incredibly diverse international bar influences and experiences found in London.

Promising to be a ticket to the world, this internationally focused cocktail weekend will showcase London’s global outlook and exciting cocktail talent, set within the beautiful Bedford Square Gardens in Bloomsbury. Festivalgoers can indulge in a healthy dose of escapism, taking a journey around the globe in a few short sips, enjoying worldwide street food and experiencing a variety of live music, entertainment and immersive games.

Featuring 20 of London’s most-renowned bars and celebrated mixologists, the final bar line-up for the August edition has now been revealed:

Appearing at the festival in pop-up form, each bar has partnered with an internationally renowned and respected spirit brand to create an array of creative cocktail experiences to be enjoyed in one afternoon. The international edition will transport guests to all four corners of the Earth, discovering cocktail creations from world-renowned bars and mixologists including vibrant tiki-masters Laki Kane, The Beachcomber crowned as London’s house of Rhum Agricole and buzzy Trader Vic’s promising to whisk guests away to warmer climates with rum-laced cocktails and tropical vibes.

Festivalgoers will journey around the world, grabbing a taste of Mexico with marvellous margaritas from Cafe Pacifico, French-inspired cocktails from St-Remy Brandy and delicious drinks from Peckham neighbourhood bar Funkidory. Guests will also be able to enjoy the two most popular serves from the July edition – Laki Kane’s Sacao Punch served in an aesthetically-pleasing coconut and critics’ choice, the Penicillin on Wax from Strongman’s Tipple – as they make a return at the August event.

Exciting new venues like Silverleaf at the Pan Pacific Hotel and The Libertine – a soon-to-open underground bar concept from Incipio Group – will also also be on display showcasing the international outlook of the London bar scene, alongside sophisticated hotel bar Zetter Townhouse and Arcade Bar, the bar from global drinking and dining destination Arcade Food Hall.

Together with the diverse mix of bars and mixologists, guests at the August edition of Cocktails in the City will be able to uncover dishes from around the world including Souvlaki and falafel boxes from Get The Greek, authentic American-style BBQ from Prairie Fire and exceptional Sashimi from yakitori and sushi specialists, Sticks N Sushi.

Alongside outstanding cocktails, guests can enjoy a varied line-up of live music curated by Hennessy Cognac, cocktail making sessions with TT Liquor, get stuck into ice carving with Ice Carving Cool and challenge their friends to a fast-paced game of shuffleboard with a cocktail in hand thanks to London Shuffle Club. Guests can also participate in a massive Monkey Shoulder silent disco and every guest is invited to develop their cocktail knowledge through multiple tasting sessions and masterclasses happening throughout the event.

Those attending Cocktails in the City The International Edition will also have the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to Saint Lucia. Guests will be able to enter their email address at the Chairman’s Reserve stand and be in with a chance of winning a week-long stay for two at The Harbor Club Hotel in partnership with Saint Lucia Tourism Agency. Over the weekend, guests can try their luck at games of skill and chance, enter competitions and win big prizes courtesy of the bars and brands at Cocktails in the City.
