Creative Geniuses Menu At 100 Wardour St!

From the magic of Madonna to the dazzling delusion of Dali and wonder of Warhol, 100 Wardour St celebrates the innovation, imagination and inner turmoil of the world’s finest creative figures with a brand new cocktail menu.

Nestled in the heart of colourful Soho, 100 Wardour St has become a haunt for creatives summoned from the whimsical worlds of cookery, art, music and mixology who elevate the world in which we live. What better place to celebrate some of the world’s most challenged creative champions then?

From the fearlessness of Frida Kahlo to the mystique of Marilyn Monroe and the volatile valour of Van Gogh, this collection of fragmented first class cocktails will honour the gamechangers whose creative disorders produced works of sublime beauty.

Created by Bar Manager Marco Sangion and Head Mixologist Federico Pasian, this audacious menu launched on 15th April and blends together the spirit and passion of these creative icons through mind-blowing mixology. Following in the footsteps of these legends, 100 Wardour St will begin with cherished, conventional cocktail ingredients then proceed to distort and disfigure them into a pioneering concoction of intrepid flavour combinations.

It’s a farewell for Margaritas, and a new dawn for ‘Por Diego’ – tequila, Aperol, lime and sweet chilli sauce as fiery as Frida.

In honour of the morphing icon that is Madonna, ‘Like a Virgin’ combines a raucous blend of vodka, refreshing limoncello, floral camomille Quaglia, lime, strawberry puree and Fever Tree lemonade which will make you feel oh so shiny and new. Celebrating the creative genius of Beethoven, ‘Bi Polar’ sees two classics collide, served separately as a Negroni and a Piña Colada that create an unexpected symphony when combined.

In true temperamental Jackson Pollock expression, ‘Splash It’ flings together the short sweet taste of bourbon, passionfruit, apple and vanilla into a warming masterpiece whilst ‘Cypress’ fuses the powerful punches of genever, benedictine, absinthe with a refreshing splash of pineapple juice in the essence of Vincent Van Gogh.

‘Mess Around’ embodies the substantial soul and compulsive character of legendary blues singer Ray Charles, expect bourbon, Oloroso sherry, Amargo de Angostura topped off with a kick of ginger ale. Painted as pretty as one of her pictures, ‘Bloom’ unites the floral decadence and maddening melancholy of artist Georgia O’Keeffe with a delicate mix of vodka, vermouth rose, lavender syrup, Peychaud’s bitter and sparkling wine, whilst the alcohol-free ‘Teen Spirit’ is set to entertain us with a feisty mix of seedlip citrus, pineapple, passionfruit, vanilla and ginger beer courtesy of rock legend Kurt Cobain.

I attended 100 Wardour St and tried the alcohol-free ‘Teen Spirit’ as I was wanting to be indulgent but trying to be good. It was fruity and the perfect mocktail. Who knew they could be so good!

Check out the new menu! It’s fab!
