Jinjuu and Hwayo Review
Londons premier modern Korean restaurant with celebrity chef Judy Joo is a beautiful food experience not to be missed. Offering both a traditional and contemporary taste of Korean cuisine from small bites such as Bulgogi style sliders and prawn lollipops to ssam sharing platters of succulent Bossam Pork Belly, Braised short ribs and wagyu sirloin to name but a few. However do not miss out on the most delicious Korean fried chicken sliders you will probably ever taste. It’s so hard to get Korean food in London, especially at this high standard and quality.
Jinjuu is also famous for bringing Hwayo to London. A 700 year old South Korean premium spirit, Soju (made from rice) an almost guilt free drinking experience (less than 70 calories per shot). Basically Korea’s vodka. Jinjuu offers a range of Hwayo 17, Hwayo 25, Hwayo 41, Hwayo 53 and for the very brave Hwayo X Premium. So exclusive it’s only retailed in Fortnum and Masons. Needless to say their cocktails where divine and packed a lovely punch. We recommend the K-POP PORNSTAR with Hwayo 41, passion fruit, vanilla, pineapple & sparkling kumquat soju)!
This is a family run business with celebrity and Michelin star trained chefs. Their third venue, joining Soho and Hong Kong so these guys know their trade! Even using their own porcelain ceramics to serve the delicious dishes in…their attention to detail cannot be faulted and I will certainly be going back for more!
Jinjuu is open 7 days a week. Kitchen closes 30 mins before closing time.
