L.O.L. Surprise! LIVE VIP Party REVIEW

The L.O.L. Surprise! LIVE VIP Party was OUTRAGOUESLY EPIC! 

And that’s coming from me, an adult! 

As you can tell, I can’t hide, nor am I ashamed to hide my excitement from watching this show.

But before I go into my thoughts of it, here’s all you need to know and expect from the show.

The multi-city national tour remixes the vibes of a club, featuring the best ever beats & latest songs from the upcoming L.O.L. Surprise! Movie.  Featuring outrageous choreography, elaborate sets, flawless costumes and brand-new music, the show will be a concert come dance party for the whole family to enjoy.

The show follows Mallory as she gets ready for the L.O.L. Surprise! LIVE VIP Party but doesn’t know what to wear – a predicament most of us have found ourselves in at one time or another! However, the L.O.L. Surprise! Dolls are there to help her realise – through show stopping numbers that will have families on their feet and dancing – that B.B.s don’t fit into just one box and all that matters is being YOURSELF and having fun. 

Now, I’m sure that breakdown has got you hyped up already, but here are my thoughts!

As my first line expresses, the show is outrageously epic! The story line makes sense, and is easy to follow, the routines and songs are a lot of fun, I loved the remix of the popular beats with the Dolls own lyric, genesis! We literally danced and sang the night away!

I also loved that the backup dancers and Dolls actually dance off stage and in the stall seats area quite often, super engaging is an understatement! The funny thing is, I wasn’t sat at stalls, but the buzz and fun flooded the whole arena, it’s truly immersive and innovative!

There were also bubbles, projections, confetti (which can only be experienced if you have a stall seats) BUT the highlight of the night was that the holograms, and this could be experienced by everyone no matter what part of the arena you were at! My kids reactions to the holograms was priceless, I think mine was too, that was really incredible! The movement and realism of the holograms was fantastic. They even did full blown dance routines with the dancers, it was awesome. 

My kids were the only L.O.L. Surprise fans when we stepped into the show, but now I’m one too!

L.O.L. Surprise! LIVE VIP Party in collaboration with Visit Malta will be appearing in London at The O2 from 15th-17th February.
