NAPOLI ON THE ROAD LAUNCHES IN RICHMOND

 This July, award-winning Neapolitan pizzeria, Napoli on the Road, which specialises in unique seasonal spins on the classic dish, will be launching its second restaurant in Richmond.
The new restaurant will be opening in the heart of Richmond and is aimed at providing a trusted neighbourhood pizzeria, where good food comes first. Building on the tremendous success of their flagship location, the new site promises to deliver the same unique flavours, quality and passion for pizza that has earned the reputation as one of the best places to get Neapolitan pizza in London. 
Napoli on the Road is famous for its innovative, contemporary Neapolitan pizza, offering truly unique twists on the much-loved dish. Its seasonal approach is what sets this pizzeria apart, as there is an everchanging menu to reflect the bounty of each season and embrace the freshest and most flavourful produce available.
The pizzeria’s focus is on experimentation and innovation, utilizing high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create distinctively delicious flavour combinations. The innovative dishes on Napoli on the Road’s seasonal menu are thoughtfully designed to highlight the unique characteristics of each ingredient. 
Designed with a blend of modern and rustic elements, the interior of Napoli on the Road Richmond is warm and inviting, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and comfortable. The open kitchen concept allows guests to witness the artistry of the pizzaiolos as they hand-stretch the dough and assemble each pizza with care and precision.
Head chef and founder Michele Pascarella has also recently been awarded Pizza Maker of the Year 2023, having started his business by wandering around with his three-wheeler Ape Piaggio making wood fire pizzas all over London. Recognised as the first pizzaiolo to bring contemporary high-crust pizza to the UK, Michele is now considered a “pioneer of contemporary pizza”. Since starting out, his focus is to consistently deliver the finest quality of product using exclusively seasonal ingredients. For this reason, the menu evolves every three months to respect the environment and what nature offers.

Highlights of Napoli on the Road’s delicious new menu include unforgettable pizzas such as the Cheesewick – topped with buffalo mozzarella DOP, ricotta cheese, stracciatella di bufala, blue stilton, parmesan chip and piennolo cherry tomato jam; Ricordi D’infanzia (which translates as childhood memories) – made with 12 hours slow-cooked ragu napoletano and 24 months parmigiano reggiano cream; and the new Tonno & Scarola- featuring fresh fior di latte from Caserta, crunchy escarole, semi-dry cherry tomato, tuna fillets from Cetara, black olive powder and sweet reduction of red onion. Although pizza takes centre stage at Napoli on the Road, there are a number of other delectable dishes on the menu for guests to enjoy.
