Old Spitalfields Market Welcomes New Italian Wine Bar

In July, the co-founders of Bottles & Battles in Mercato Metropolitano will unveil their newest venture, BOTTLES, in Old Spitalfields Market. This laid-back yet sophisticated Italian wine bar will welcome guests over two floors and an outside terrace for the ultimate “wine and dine” experience. City workers, big groups and couples alike will have their pick from an expertly curated wine list, featuring a range of bottles from independent producers and small farms, with some fine wines thrown into the mix. Most labels are Italian, but the selection also features some international names. Feeling intimidated? Fear not: a crew of trained sommeliers will help you sort through the impressive list and pair your drink with any food that strikes your fancy.

Speaking of food, the BOTTLES team have partnered with pop-up restaurant concept SOOD Family to bring you a mouthwatering menu. Whether you need a rapido lunch before heading back to the office or you want to enjoy a lovely romantic dinner, chefs Michele Pompili, Carlo Dehò and Nadine Martins Verissimo have got you covered, with everything from burrata in tomato elixir to wild sea-bass crudo.
You will be happy to know from the 2nd July – 5th July 2018, they will be offering 50% off food and will operate on a first come, first served basis.
