Paddington Central presents The Sessions At Home

After months in lock down we have had to find ways to keep ourselves and especially young ones sane and occupied. Thanks to creative innovative minds, we have had an abundance of online events and classes to keep us engaged, entertained, educated and enlightened. As lockdown restrictions ease, a majority of us remain at home and having access to these virtual activities remain essential for our physical and mental well being.

Paddington Central presents The Sessions at Home programme, featuring a series of workshops, classes and talks. In partnership with Square Mile Farms, a vertical urban farming business, 12×3 boxing gym and Zip Fit Club, The Sessions at Home aims to inspire and encourage people to maintain a work life balance, stay fit and learn something new.

Working from home from makeshift desks can play havoc on your posture. Make sometime to step away from your computer, improve your balance, cardiovascular system and strength with a 30-40 min whole body workout or an ultimate boxing session via zoom with live coaches, it will feel like you have a PT in your own home.

Zip Fit Club | Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday 12noon

12×3 Box Gym Live | Ongoing, book via www.12x3gym.co.uk

The crisis has also got many of us changing our habits, being more health conscious and aware about food waste. In this interactive class with Hannah Grows from Square Mile Farms, you’ll learn the basic tools needed to experiment with fermentation at home.  Find out about the wide range of uses and health benefits associated with fermented foods such as improved digestion and immunity whilst making your very own sauerkraut.

Ferment-Along | Wednesday 29th July 6pm – 7pm

Tickets are £7.20 via Eventbrite. For every ticket purchased, Square Mile Farms will donate £1 to the North Paddington Food Bank. For more information on these and forthcoming events from The Sessions at home, check out their website www.paddingtoncentral.com/TheSessions
