Ping Pong Steam At Home Review

Now you know by now that Onin.London loves Ping Pong and it’s one of the restaurants we’ve missed during Lockdown. Thankfully, since lockdown due to Covid 19 there has been a huge range of meal kits created by restaurants. These have certainly been greatly appreciated. Ping Pong has set themselves apart from the majority by providing customers with handmade restaurant products at affordable prices, created by their chefs and ready to cook at home as soon as they arrive. Meaning customers can have their favourite Ping Pong dim sum in just over a minute if using a microwave or 5 if using a traditional steaming basket.

We were sent a voucher to be able to order some of their Steam At Home boxes to try ourselves and couldn’t be more impressed. It was super easy for my house mate to cook as I’m currently out of action due to a trapped nerve in my shoulder. She was able to follow the instructions and my helpful guidance wasn’t really needed. (I’m the main cook in our household, so it was nice to sit back and be able have someone cook restaurant quality food for me).

We’re even more excited to announce Ping Pong will be continuing their Steam at Home boxes even when their restaurants reopen in two stages from April 12 and May 17, as Ping Pong see the value of customers across the UK being able to enjoy their product.

Art Sagiryan CEO of Ping Pong says, “our Steam at Home product offering is a wonderful addition to our restaurants and has provided income while our restaurants have been closed. As a business we also see the value in continuing in order to reach customers across the UK as our restaurants are based in the south of England.

They are currently retailing 15 of their most popular dim sum including Traditional Prawn Har Gau, Char Sui Buns, Crispy Duck Spring Roll and Shanghai Chilli Wonton with Spinach & Mushroom. They have a selection of Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options. Dumplings and spring rolls are sold as portions of six and retail between £5.34 and £6.42.

Ping Pong recommends ordering 2-3 dim sum containers per person on average for a wonderful meal to be shared. They offer free next day delivery across the UK mainland for all orders of £42 and above when placed before 2pm.

As well as dim sum and sauces they are also retailing bamboo steaming baskets, chopsticks, tableware and a selection of the teas they also serve including Flowering Jasmine and Lily. Min order for Ready to Steam dim sum is £30 with £6 delivery charge; Free delivery on orders above £42.

There is no delivery charge for tea products or tableware if ordered with Ready to Steam dim sum products.

There is no minimum order amount on tableware but there is a £2.99 shipping fee which is added at checkout.

We loved the experience and can’t thank Ping Ping enough.
