Pomona’s New Menu

Chef Wolfe Conyngham is cooking up a storm at Pomono’s, in the very vibrant Notting Hill. Wolfe’s new eclectic à la carte menu, is something pretty special! It features the modern classics and some exotic dishes to tantalise your taste-buds. Starters include Vietnamese rolls; onion, squash and gruyere arancini.

Pomona’s offers all-day dining and drinking amongst the pretty surroundings of Notting Hill. They have a Summer terrace, perfect for those long al fresco lunches which we are all so desperately waiting for… Pomonoa’s has a vibrant and modern feel to it, Abstract and patterned pictures feature around the restaurant, with bold colourful seating.

The a la carte menu is split into two, first up is the the wood & Charcoal section, dishes are cooked on the wood and charcoal Bertha grill and feature meaty, juicy dishes such as Iberico pork pluma with braised fennel and salsa verde; dry aged sirloin with wild mushrooms and horseradish shoots; and Madagascan prawns with lemon, chili, parsley and butter. I choose the grilled chicken, caponata, which was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy and the caponata complemented the chicken very well, bursting with flavour. My guest had the burger and house fries, a firm favourite, juicy burger with melted cheese on it, in a soft bun.

The Healthy and Light section, includes light dishes such as butternut squash with cavolo nero, cottage cheese and toasted almonds; and quinoa with cucumber, peas, labheh, pomegranate and herbs. If you are opting for the healthy option then feast your eyes on the homemade smoothies they have on offer, which includes the Chia Fix, Express Kale and zero-proof.

The bar menu features wines, beers and yummy cocktails, which include the Aloe Vera Spritz (chardonnay, aloe vera, peach wine and soda), Camomile Manhattan (camomile-infused rye, vermouth and chocolate Suze), Ford Martini (gin, Lillet Blanc and Benedictine) and Salt Caramel White Russian (rum, salted caramel, just to name a few.

The reception is pretty cool, think zebra print mats, leafy plants, cacti and pineapples. Perfectly set up for the gram!
