Prezzo Serves Up a Special Menu Until 1st Jan

Until 1st January, Prezzo restaurants around the UK are offering a set Christmas menu, which lets you choose from tonnes of mouth-watering festive options. We were lucky enough to test the three-course menu (you can also opt for the two-course if you’re not so hungry) and we came out immensely satisfied.

For starters, we tried the breaded mozzarella with pomodoro sauce, a posher take on the classic American mozzarella sticks, and the beetroot and goat’s cheese gnocchi, tasty and generous accompanied by a flavourful pesto. For mains, we opted for the goat’s cheese and red pepper pizza — even yummier than expected — and the roasted aubergine salad, which was lovely. Portions are very hearty, but so delicious that we soldiered through our desserts: the chocolate brownie dome and the sticky toffee pudding (which is part of Prezzo’s regular menu).

Other highlights of the party season menu include the Christmas cracker calzone (an absolute bonanza of indulgence — imagine a full Christmas dinner lovingly folded into a pizza), the traditional lasagna and the king prawn and salmon risotto. If you’re feeling extra festive, you can add a salted caramel espresso martini or Christmas fizz to your celebration.

We were impressed with this special offering, which really holds its own and earns a well-deserved place as one of the best options for high-street dining. So go on then, dash to your closest Prezzo for some seasonal Italian goodness!
