Rumpus Room Review

The new skyline menu has now been released at the Rumpus Room. 12 floors up with the stunning, uninterrupted views over the River Thames, with St Paul’s Cathedral drawing you in as you step out onto the surrounding deck. It provides an intimate feel and oozes elegance and charm. You can see why this place would be so popular.

In collaboration with Grey Goose, the selection of 4 new cocktails will celebrate London skylines most iconic landmarks. The cocktails contain a range of unusual ingredients such as vegetable scrub, Philadelphia foam and a digestive biscuit.

Guests can choose between: Big Ben – Grey Goose Citron, tea & thyme syrup, apricot, lime.

The Gherkin – Grey Goose Original, Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth, vegetable shrub.

The Grater – Grey Goose La Poire, green chartreuse, white crème de cacao, almond & lime, digestive biscuit, Philadelphia foam. A sweet treat that gave me the impression of Christmas in a glass, tasted like a gingerbread!

My personal favourite, The Shard – Grey Goose, Dubonnet, raspberry & orange juice.

All cocktails were all priced at £13. Every Wednesday evening, Rumpus Room offers a skyline session. From 5pm, guests can sip the night away on cocktails whilst appreciating the tune of their in-house band. This is the perfect place for that mid-week treat!
