SAKE NO HANA CELEBRATES THE JAPANESE MAPLE LEAF SEASON WITH AUTUMN LEAF INSTALLATION

Sake no Hana, the Japanese restaurant from the Hakkasan Group, is celebrating the change in season in style this Autumn, with a fantastic new leaf installation.

Honouring the Japanese maple leaf season, the installation is formed from red, orange and yellow leaves, encasing the stunning floor to ceiling glass windows at the front of the restaurant on St James Street. Upon entering, guests will instantly feel at one with nature, giving them the chance to experience ‘momiji-gari’, the Japanese tradition of viewing the maple leaves whilst enjoying modern authentic Japanese cuisine.

Executive Head Chef Hideki Hiwatashi is creating a fantastic limited-edition menu to match, drawing on seasonal ingredients, which can be enjoyed with warm seasonal cocktails, Japanese sake, and whisky. Dishes include Kinoko misojitate, wild mushroom and chilli yuzu miso soup; Shitake tofu, shiitake mushrooms filled with homemade tofu and wasabi sauce and Salmon kurumi miso yaki, pan fried Loch Duart salmon with walnuts and Kyoto miso.

The Autumn Leaf installation and the limited-edition menu will be available at Sake no Hana from 22nd October to 24th November for £40 per person, also available a la carte.
