SANDERSON LONDON LAUNCHES FIRST VINE TO CAN TERRACE EXPERIENCE
Sanderson London the original lifestyle hotel, made famous as a glamorous and cult celebrity hangout, is partnering with B Corp brand, The Uncommon, to create the first vine to can terrace experience in London.
The Uncommon Garden at Sanderson London located on Berners Street, is ready to welcome guests come rain or shine through to September, and is the ultimate destination to sip the most gorgeous wines and cocktails with friends. Serving up The Uncommon, famed for its unbelievably good English sparkling wines served in cans, guests can settle into the plush furniture and relish in the quintessentially British décor at one of London’s most iconic hotels.
Onin.London visited on Thursday 1st June to sample the wine, try the delectable cocktails and soak in the atmosphere! It was a blast!
The alfresco terrace, fringes the front exterior of the building and is surrounded by a luscious hedge border, mirroring a classic English garden. Quirky watering cans decorate the tables with pops of vibrantly coloured dried flowers. The Uncommon’s elegant, vintage-style branding can be found throughout the menus and touch points around the terrace, including placemats, coasters and selfie-enticing installations.
The ideal spot to people watch in central London, guests can choose from the range of The Uncommon canned wines, served from can to glass by the team. Options include Bubbly White Wine made with handpicked Bacchus and Chardonnay grapes, as well as a light and bright Bubbly Rose Wine, with notes of fresh summer strawberries. Our favourite was the Bubbly Rose Wine!
Alongside the wine in a can offering, Sanderson London’s expert team of mixologists have crafted a selection of deliciously seasonal Spritzers and Cocktails to be enjoyed. Highlights include the Elderflower & Cucumber White Wine Spritzer, a Mint & Jasmine Rose Wine Spritzer and the Raspberry Bouquet; a delicious blend of crushed raspberries and Beefeater Gin, muddled with The Uncommon’s English Rose Spritzer.
These cocktails were delicious. My favourite was definitely the Raspberry Bouquet.. sweet and refreshing… it was summer in a glass!
To enhance support of The Uncommon’s B Corp principles, the brand also partners with Kent Wildlife Trust to support wilding projects that immediately surround its English vineyards. Sanderson London will donate £1.00 from every The Uncommon wine, spritzer or cocktail to the charity to further help fund the pioneering work.
