Savisto Mixer: Review

Savisto

We had the pleasure of reviewing the Savisto 5.5L premium food stand mixer. Let me just say if you are looking for a stand mixer that looks good, is value for money, and has a good wattage the Savisto mixer ticks all 3 boxes.

Obviously I had to try it out so I used it to mix a basic Victoria sponge batter and butter cream both which came out beautifully light and fluffy. For you background I am a baker and own a small baking business called MadetoOrder, so baking is my life, so you are in trusted hands when I tell you that I love the product.

Standard information about the Savisto mixer:

Comes in two colour choices of red and black

3 standard attachments (a dough hook, a beater and a whisk)

You get a recipe booklet (which for me was a bonus) and an instruction manual

You also get a splash guard and a lovely spatula

Basically everything you need whether you are a budding baker or a newbie wanting to try your hand at baking in your kitchen.

Pros

The mixer looks great and the style is perfect, it will fit into even the most uber trendy kitchen

The mixer is easy to set up and clean. Just wiping it down with a damp paper towel did the trick for me

It doesn’t take up too much worktop space. Which is great if you don’t have a big kitchen.

It has an 800-1260 watts motor that is very good for a mixer of this size

The mixer is sturdy and does not move whilst mixing thanks to the anti slip feet at the bottom of the machine.

As mentioned before you get the instruction manual that’s pretty straightforward and provides you with great tips on speed and which attachments to use

Savisto also offer a two year warranty, which was my favourite added bonus

Cons

There was only one con for me and that was it would be great there was some sort of lid to the ingredients window on the splashguard. I found that particularly when working with icing sugar I still managed to get some on the work surface due to the window not having some sort of closure attachment.

In short whether you are a budding baker or newbie we highly recommend you grab a Savisto Mixer for £95.99 it is a great investment.
