Style Clash
Two sisters both with different styles.
For this months style clash we’ve chosen to make outfits using a Leather Jacket. Leather Jackets are perfect for this time of year where it’s too cold to not wear a jacket and too warm to wear a big coat.
There are many different styles of leather jackets available so it was pretty hard to pick one.
Here are B’s chosen Leather Jacket and her outfit!
Bex: After deciding on doing our Style Clash post using a Leather Jacket I got straight on it and searched through and through until I found the right jacket that I wanted to use which is the Biker Jacket.
Below is a picture of my chosen Jacket;
I love Leather Jackets and when I found this one I knew it would fit right for my choice of outfit.
I’m keeping my outfit as a bit of a Tom Boy sort of look with the skinny jeans, white vest, Converse and the jacket.
Here’s my final look:
To create this outfit I used;
Black Biker Jacket from Wallis- £58
White Los Angeles Wings Tank Top from New Look – £7.99
Tall 36in Pale Acid Wash Skinny Jeans from New Look – £19.99
White Converse All Star Ox from JD Sports – £45
For this outfit I didn’t want it to be all black with a hint of white so I opted for the Acid Wash Skinny Jeans instead of plain black skinny jeans. With this choice of jeans it gives the whole look more colour.
Again I wanted to add a touch of colour with the vest and I didn’t particularly want to have just a plain white vest so that’s why I decided on the City Of Angels vest with a hint of colour on there to bring out the leather jacket.
Lastly I added a simple white pair of All Star Converse to finish the look because come on who doesn’t love a good pair of Converse?!
Now for S’ look;
Sammy: So for my outfit I first searched the web for a leather jacket to suit the overall girly look and found this one from River Island.
I really like the colour of this jacket so I picked this as the main piece of my outfit and once I’d found the rest here’s the final look!
To create this outfit I used;
Cream Quilted Panel Biker Jacket from River Island – £60
Tokyo Doll Black and White Stripe Lace Dress from New Look – £19
80 Denier 3D Luxury Velvet Tights from Next – £6
ASOS Laila Ballet Flats from ASOS – £16
I picked the dress because I love the two-tone style to it and it has a bit of a
Skater dress look to it, it love a dress that flows out at the bottom just a bit.
Now it’s a bit chilly to wear dresses with your legs out, so I picked a pair of tights just to keep the legs warm. Next the shoes, I chose ballet pumps as they’re a girly shoe and white which goes with the dress.
