The Grill On The Market Review
You know a restaurant is going to be good when you’re friends tell you to visit. So I had high expectations for The Grill on the Market. I wasn’t disappointed. I arrived earlier than my friend so it was time to enjoy the two for one cocktail for Happy Hour. The Raspberry & Mint Sling was my favourite and one you should add to your list of cocktails to try. Raspberries, mint, Tanqueray Gin, lemon, raspberry liqueur and tonic water. Definitely a summer go-to drink. The food at The Grill is predominately a meat eater’s paradise, with various different steak…

Rosé Bar at Rock & Rose
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Rock & Rose is somewhat of a local institution. Under the stewardship of Lorraine Angliss, alongside a number of her other creations, she oversees every aspect of Rock & Rose from the kitchen to its unique design. Design is a clearly a key part of the Rock & Rose experience with two equally elaborate but differently styled rooms sandwiching a private dining room in the heart of the restaurant. The eccentrically decorated restaurant, a few minutes walk from Richmond station, certainly marks itself out amongst the competition locally; offering a sense of escapism from…
