London Eye: CRUK and Human Race Event

2014-12-01 09.37.16

In celebration of the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run taking place on 1 February 2015, I was one of several lucky people invited to attend a fitness class lead by the delectable Danielle Linton aboard the iconic London Eye.  A definite once in a lifetime experience.

Our media pod decorated in glacier theme, smelt strangely of after eights but was heated to perfection so we were very forgiving haha.  Our journey on the wheel lasted 30 minutes and Danielle definitely made the most of it, expertly guiding us through a series of eye watering and sweat inducing drills which included butt busting lunges and squats and well as good old fashioned press-ups.  To say we caused a stir would be an understatement.  Other visitors to the eye could hardly believe theirs as they watched Danielle put us through our paces.

As if that wasn’t enough, once back on solid ground Danielle shook that winter chill from our bones by taking us on a 2.5km run around the streets surrounding the eye!! No complaints though as to be involved in such and awesome and inspirational event for such a worthy cause was an absolute honour.

I would like to first take the opportunity to say a resounding thanks to Human Race and Cancer Research for putting on such an amazeballs event and allowing me to be part of it and second to ask you to get involved. You can even grab yourself a discount by using the special code KISDISCOUNT at checkout for £3 off your entry, but remember, it is for a limited time only!

I look forward to seeing you there.
