    Run Richmond Park

    January 31, 2016 /

The Run Richmond Park race series is back and will be running on a regular basis over the course of 2016. The runs will take you around the superb parkland, the course being a mix of country paths, a little bit of cross country and as you may have guessed it is slightly undulating – the hills simply adding to the occasion!  There’s the option of 5k or 10k and plenty to do for spectators too! Gareth Brown, one of regular writers, will be doing the 10k in the February race. It’s his first race in over a year and…

London Eye: CRUK and Human Race Event

    December 3, 2014 /

In celebration of the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run taking place on 1 February 2015, I was one of several lucky people invited to attend a fitness class lead by the delectable Danielle Linton aboard the iconic London Eye.  A definite once in a lifetime experience. Our media pod decorated in glacier theme, smelt strangely of after eights but was heated to perfection so we were very forgiving haha.  Our journey on the wheel lasted 30 minutes and Danielle definitely made the most of it, expertly guiding us through a series of eye watering and sweat inducing drills which…

YOU COME, YOU RUN, YOU RAVE

    August 21, 2014 /

Usually dancing in the streets is reserved for overthrowing dictators and West Side Story, but now there is a new reason to take to the streets; introducing ElectroDash5K. Nostradamus did not predict this, but on Saturday 20 September, 2014, the sun will not set. The night will be illuminated with a neon glow, strobe lights, and the euphoric sound of Electronica. The London Excel centre will let its metaphorical hair down. By day a conference centre by night a symposium of sound. The track is the music. Attendees will witness projections of dynamic graphic artwork, as the beat transports them…
