I discovered MeMeMe Cosmetics a few months ago and reviewed a few products HERE and was really impressed with what they had to offer. When they explained that they had new product launches, I couldn’t wait to give them a go. I have been trying the Angels with Halos Skin Illuminator and the Seventh Heaven Moisturising Face Base.

Seventh Heaven Moisturising Face Base – £15.00

This Face Base, as the name may suggest is essentially a primer for your make-up which is designed for dry to normal skin types. It comes in a pot in the style of a day cream and is designed to be applied to a cleansed face before your foundation in the morning. Firstly, I absolutely LOVE the look of the packaging – not the most hygienic of containers, but it certainly looks pretty on my dressing table. The glass jar makes it look far more expensive than it actually is.

I was concerned that this primer would feel far too heavy on the skin and take a while to absorb – very frustrating when you’re in a rush in the morning! But luckily, despite being hugely hydrating, the primer actually feels really light on the skin and absorbs in a minute or so.

Having combination/oily skin myself, this primer was not designed for my skin and doesn’t suit it overly well. I’m actually really annoyed about this, as I love it as a product! In fact, I like it so much that I have been priming my face with an alternative primer on my T-zone, and using this for my slightly drier cheeks. I would certainly recommend this – although I might not buy it again for myself as it doesn’t suit my skin, I would definitely buy it for a friend.

Angels with Halos Skin Illuminator – £9.99

The Skin Illuminator can be used alone as a highlighter to aid your facial contouring, or can be combined with your foundation to create an all over facial glow. As you can see from my swatch above, the colour is absolutely beautiful and provides a really subtle glow which looks amazing when blended into the skin. I think this product makes a lovely addition to any makeup bag – especially if your skin is looking a little dull and needs a little livening up!

What do you think? Have you tried MeMeMe Cosmetics yet?
