With the aim of helping raise awareness and change the perception of mental health, endurance athletes Jon Fearne and Alan Colville are using their mad adventure skills to help promote the cause by putting themselves through an outside sport and adventure of extreme proportions.
With a deep understanding of the importance of mental health himself, Alan came a cropper on his bike when he was hit by a truck and has made an amazing recovery despite dark times. Now a true advocate of the positive power of exercise and how it really can make a difference, Alan and fellow adventurer Jon will undertake a four-stage challenge to climb to where aeroplanes fly and ride their bikes higher than anyone ever! Making a difference with their World Record attempt, the pair have trained on Mont Blanc, lapped the UK, undertaken altitude and extreme condition training on Aconcagua and
are now training for a World Record attempt of the highest cycle ever in September.
