The Method Slow Fashion Store

Tuesday 16th October at 10am-7pm
Wednesday 17th October, 10am-7pm

A new eco friendly fashion store is opening in Shoreditch this October, courtesy of Method, the cleaning brand which uses only non-toxic, plant-friendly ingredients and 100% recycled plastic bottles. The much-awaited pop-up will give visitors the opportunity to buy pre-worn celeb items, donate clothes, or have their threads customised.

Designed to encourage longer life for useable textiles, the space will serve its part in cleaning up the fast fashion industry. Coining the phrase ‘slow fashion’, it will ask customers to buy, donate or customise pre-loved clothes rather than throwing them away. Opening stocked with premium men’s and womenswear donated by media fashion cupboards and style-conscious celebs and influencers, the store will be encouraging the longer life of useable material, with all proceeds going to Clothes Aid.

The store will help visitors fall back in love with their old garms, with an in-house host seamstresses who will be on hand to jazz up tired outfits and give them a fresh lease of life. Customers will also be given a free non-toxic peony blush laundry detergent with every purchase along with a free tote bag, promoting an eco friendly mindset in how clothes are looked after, and not just worn.

How much: Free entry but clothing donations welcome (please bring your most prized item in need of a new home)

Address: 189 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU
