    Meet the Team: Hi Lottie

    September 24, 2013 /

Name: Lottie Pearce Social Media: Blog, website, youtube, twitter, facebook, etc: Www.lovebeautyandspa.blogspot.co.uk Www.heartsease-beauty.co.uk Tell us about yourself and what makes you tick: I love everything to do with beauty, dancing and shopping. I also adore animals – my ideal day out would be a visit to the zoo! If you had to choose anyone to play you in a movie who would it be and why: This is hard! Maybe Drew Barrymore because she seems really down to earth, easy going and fun. How long have you been writing for: I’ve only been blogging for a few months! What made…

You can call it plaid too

    September 24, 2013 /

You know that old Tartan scarf your mum has in the back of her wardrobe? Yeah, the one you made her swear never to touch again… get it out and make it your own. Tartan is coming back with a serious bang in all different styles and colours. The print is versatile and edgy in all the right ways; you can’t fault a tartan print jacket with leather panelled shoulders can you? CAN YOU? After taking a look at the Primark Autumn/Winter ’13 collection, I know I’ll be making my way to my local Primark and buy up the shop.…

Divas On Demand presents The Emerging West Africa Event

    September 24, 2013 /

What a phenomenal event!!! I would first like to thank everyone came to the event. I would like to thank our speakers, our volunteers and our audience for making the evening eventful and a true success. The event started with an ice breaker, this allowed everyone to introduce themselves to others they didn’t know, twice! Such a good way of getting to know who is your mist.  It literally broke the ice! Our first speaker was Nana Ampofo from Songhai Advisory; a bespoke business intelligence consultancy which provides critical insight on market opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Songhai advisory specialises in strategic…

    2 years of Blogging…

    September 23, 2013 /

It would appear that I have been blogging as OneDad3Girls for 2 years. What a journey it has been. Has anything changed? Well not really, no extra children, no new house but in that time Aly has  started school, Mia has started pre-school and well I’ve just grown older. Over the course of the two years we’ve had some amazing opportunities and been allowed to represent so many great companies such as Butlins, Premier Inn, Morphy Richards, Playmobil and  many others. This is a very small part of why I write this blog and it’s mostly to keep an online…

How to get away with bellowing at the Manager you hate

    September 23, 2013 /

I got away with bellowing at the Site Manager in front of a client. But only for around a month before I was sacked. I provoked such anger amongst the Management that they all competed to claim responsibility for my dismissal. My behaviour was increasingly volatile and erratic and I would frequently bellow unnecessary questions at my Team Manager, and always in a strong Northern accent. The only thing thicker than this accent was the Customer Service Supervisor who frequently mis-spelt the word ’customer’, which I duly pointed out in my customary bellowed fashion. But the crowning glory of my bellowing was shouting “YOU’RE IN MY WAY! RIGHT IN…
